- Warranted Guilt: when we know an act is wrong and we do it anyways then recognize and accept that what we did was in fact wrong - Unwarranted Guilt: There is no real justifiable reason to feel guilty. This guilt occurs when we have a wrongly formed conscience - Too Little Guilt: not caring for wrongdoing. This guilt occurs when we have a lax conscience - Excessive Guilt: Guilt out of proportion to the severity of the wrongdoing. This guilt occurs when we have legalistic conscience
