No, because they now think that there should be a relaxation period and that the woman should begin to push whenever her body tells her to do so.

What is pediatric nursing?

Can a child be given the same medical treatment as an adult with the same condition?
No, because their care is affected by their physical and mental developmental stages. They also have a difference in body functions. It is also important for the nurse to remember that there are two patients when treating a child: the caregiver and child.
How does the immaturity of the BBB affect medications taken by the child?
Some drugs will cause different effects than in adults because there is an ability to cross the BBB
Why does chemotherapy work differently in children?
They have lots of rapidly dividing cells.

They tend to be healthier, so have lower rates of deaths from health-related causes.

Accidents, infection, and dehydration.

The birth of an infant before 38 weeks gestation
What issues are premature babies more likely to have?
Smaller head sizes, respiratory, vision, and hearing issues.
