What are the signs of tenosynovitis?
inflammation of synovial sheath; acute or chronic; painful; functionally limiting
What are the symptoms of a tendon rupture?
traumatic or chronic weakening; tendon from bone; musculotendinous junction; requires surgical intervention
How can you tell musculoskeletal pain?
can you create it; can you palpate it; it is related to movement; was there an event? ; has it improved with rest?
How can you tell systemic pain?
is it associated with any other s/sx?; is it constant?; Does it worsen at night?; Did it come on suddenly?; Has it been gradually worsening?
What is a grade 1 muscle strain?
small or micro tear
What is a grade 2 muscle strain?
moderate tear
What is a grade 3 muscle strain?
complete rupture
What degree of the painful arc signifies an AC impingement?

What are red flags to look for?
tissue swelling; burning, numbness, tingling (nerve); worsening pain (systemic)
