What symptoms must be present to diagnose schizophrenia?

What are the criteria for substance abuse disorder?
At least 2 of the following 11 in the past 12 months:
- taken in larger amounts or longer period
- persistant desire or lack of success in efforts to cut down
- great deal of time spent getting, using, recovering
- craving
- failure to fulfill major role obligation
- having persistent social or interpersonal problems
- important social, occupational or recreational activities are given up
- substance use in physically hazardous situations
- substance use continues despite problems
- tolerance
- withdrawal
