The Iowa Model of Evidence-Based Practice is a five-step process:
1) Identifying the nursing problem and conduct a search of the literature.
2) Determine whether the issue is a priority for the organization
3) Form a team to develop, implement and evaluate the project.
4) Assemble the relevant literature.
5) Begin the process of critiquing the literature.
