What are the conditions of admissibility for real evidence?

A
  1. Authentication: must be identified by either testimony of witness or evidence that object was held in a substantially unbroken chain of possession (e.g. blood taken for blood alcohol test)
  2. Condition of object: if relevant, must be shown to be in substantially the same shape at trial
