Alps (Koziosco): Used for conservation, forestry and a small element of grazing beef cattle

Highlands (Batlow, talbingo and tumba): pome fruit. beef grazing cattle, some valley cropping for feed.

Slopes (tumut, adelong, coota and gundagi) : wheat, canola, gains - barley, oats, lupins. also dairy, sleep and poultry.

    - european settlement ; ag and food provsion for new colony
    - struggling to adapt to crops and farming
    - made this group
  2. Core objevctives ; support sustainable ag. development and rural communities in NSW. & million dollars invested every year.
  3. 10 years later (1832) 1st show came about, included livestock and produce. encouraged people to come together and transact business. “Compertition” was to excite people.
