Q

Why might Henry be responsible to Williams death?

A

He was also hunting in the woods at the same time as William. This means he may have payed Walter Tirrel to do it as Tirrel shortly left country to Normandy afterwards. Henry wanted the English throne and the only thing in his way was his brother.
