Head Injuries
-evacuate if any loss of consciousness
Spinal Injuries
-evacuate if significant MOI, unreliable patient, or signs and symptoms of spinal injury
Wounds
- evacuate high-risk wounds
- evacuate wounds showing signs of systemic infection
- evacuate wounds that do not heal in spite of proper care
Acute Mountain Sickness
-evacuate if severe
High Altitude Pulmonary Edema
-evacuate if severe
High Altitude Cerebral Edema
-evacuate if severe
Stroke
- evacuate
- try to get to care within three hours
Heat Cramps
-no need for evacuation unless they cannot tolerate fluids for 24+ hours or have a change in LOR
Heat Exhaustion
-no need for evacuation unless they cannot tolerate fluids for 24+ hours or have a change in LOR
Heat Stoke
