indivisible world, everything has an element of sacred in them -> nature has a purpose

everything should be done with the effects on the 7 next generations in mind

- tolerance and non-interference (each part of circle has its own understanding)
- social order favors voluntary compliance over coercion
- authority depends on qualities
- decision making by consensus
