What is the Bread of Life discourse (John 6)? Why is it important?
The Bread of Life discourse is the first time Jesus calls Himself the BRead of Life. Jesus does not back down, but instead emphasizes His declaration, knowing that He will lose followers because of it.

Jesus, now risen, preaches to two disciples who are distraught because Jesus has died. They recognize Him when He breaks the bread.
