Advantages of joining the EU.
Citizens of EU Member States can move around easily.
It is easier for Member States to trade with each other.
Member States are less likely to go war with on another.
Disadvantages of joining the EU.
National Governments don’t have a final say on issues affecting their citizens.
Bigger countries with bigger economies may lose money.
National Governments are no longer independent and have to follow others.
