  • time wasting - not adhering to time rules, ex. delaying serving in tennis.
  • bending the rules, slowing the play down - pretending to be injured/faking injury - diving to win a free kick.
  • pressuring/intimidating officials, ex. team gathering around an official.
  • sledging an opponent - whispering to them to put them off before they take a penalty.

what are the negative effects of gamesmanship?
