tonal
non tonal
is a language in which pitch is used as a part of speech, changing the meaning of a word.
tonal language
is one that does not use tones (= changes in how high or low the voice is that can change the meaning of a word)
non-tonal language
it is a Social identification based on the presumption of shared history and a common cultural inheritance
ETHNICITY
refers to structural characteristics such as socio-economic status, demographic representation and institutional support
pertinent to a language.
