Descriptive (“scientific”) Ethics–discussing what people actually do (one thing is statistical studies)-x % of children are born out of wedlock
Prescriptive (normative) Ethics–what people should be doing
Meta-ethics (analytic) Ethics–examines the foundational concepts and language (asks things like what is the meaning of good)
