1 ) Patents -> User, novel and non-obvious inventions
Types: Utility, Design, plant
2) Trademarks -> Identity of company. Can’t be similar to another company in the same domain
3) Copyrights -> Rights to copy, distribute, make money from. In CAD -> 50 years after death of creator
4) Trade secrets -> Trade secret-Patents works really well
