1. Services - cts informed with writing and verbally of nature of services and fees. Cts to be included in the discussion.
2. Language - it must be clear, understandable, and culturally appropriate.
3. Assessments - informed consent must be obtained for all assessments and cts are to be aware of all recipients of the results.
4. Research - cts must have informed consent for any research they are involved in and have the right to refuse participation.
5. Breach of security - ct must be informed about risks of security when utilizing distance counseling, risks and benefits of participating, anticipated response time, and times counselor is available.
6. Third party payors - Cts must be informed about issues relates to payment or non-payment of third-party payors.
