Q

How can we deal with the issue of informed consent?

A
  • PPs can be given a consent form detailing all relevant information about the study. Informed about all aspects of the study and asked if they wish to take part
  • If PP is under 18 consent is gained from parent/gaurdian
  • Presumptive consent: ask similar group of people if they would take part in the study after outlining the FULL aim and method. If this group consent we can presume the same about the PPs
