A registered medical technologist must not defraud or engage in any scheme to defraud in connection with obtaining payment, reimbursement or grants for services rendered, research conducted or products dispensed

A registered medical technologist must accept work harmoniously with other health workers

A registered medical technologist must fervently take his/her responsibility to achieve and maintain the highest level of professional competence and performance
Rule 2.1
A registered medical technologist must uphold the dignity and autonomy of the profession, maintain harmonious intra-professional and inter-professional relationships, and accept the professions’ self-imposed standards
Rule 2.2
A registered medical technologist must adopt the ethical value of fairness with fellow medical technologists in the delivery of laboratory services
PRINCIPLE OF CODE ETHICS 3
A registered medical technologist must not participate in professional activities that constitute a conflict of interest.
Rule 3.1
A registered medical technologist must refer those served professionally solely on the basis of the interest of those being referred and not on any personal interest, financial or otherwise.
Rule 3.2
A registered medical technologist must engage in one employment at a time.
Rule 3.3
A registered medical technologist must have full confidence in showing competency in laboratory work.
PRINCIPLE OF CODE ETHICS 4
A registered medical technologist must use every resource, including referral when appropriate, to ensure that high-quality-service is provided.
Rule 4.1
A registered medical technologist must not discriminate in the delivery of professional services or the conduct of research and scholarly activities on the basis of race or ethnicity, gender, gender identity/ gender expression, age, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, or disability.
Rule 4.2
A registered medical technologist must share knowledge and contribution to professional organizations and in the field of scientific research.
