Morality is understanding between right and wrong and Ethics is studying how our morals influence our actions in life and requires exploring values, behaviors, actions, and justifications.

Serves as a guide of how to make difficult decisions and a foundation of all ethical practices and used by all members of that profession

7 Steps for processing ethical dilemma
Step 1:Consider if it is a ethical dilemma. Refresh your knowledge about clinical facts, procedures, standards of care to see if there is a legal action needed
Step 2: Find related information about the case like results and literature about the specific condition and evaluations
Step 3: Identify own values on issues and respect other values
Step 4:Verbalize the problem
Step 5:Think about courses if action that is relaxant to your patients values and situation
Step 6:Reflect on outcome
Step 7:Evaluate action and outcome
