Ethical implications consider the consequences on the rights of people who are being represented by the participants in a piece of research
Outline what is meant by social sensitivity
Social sensitivity is used to describe studies where there are potential social consequences for the people being represented by the participants in the research.

-Methodology used should be assessed carefully as the participants information should be treated with confidentiality before, during and after the research.

-If an institution or government is funding the research they could misuse the data to support their own agenda, so researchers must make sure this does not happen.

-The researchers must ensure the data or findings do not affect the participants involved or the people they are representing.
