Right to confidentiality
Data collected should be confidential (no names)
Informed consent
Signing a sheet of paper of consent.
Avoid undue stress or harm
Risk of harm should be no greater than what is experienced in daily life.
Debriefing
Participants should be fully debriefed at the end of the study, ensuring that they understand the aims of the study. They should also be informed about their right to withdrawal.
Avoid deception
Participants should not be misled, and if they are, they need to be debriefed.
Right to withdraw and have data withdrawn
Participants should be told from the beginning that they have the right to withdraw.
Animal research
Researching the suitable animals who will suffer the least.
