What are stem changing verbs? list some examples
verbs that follow the changes e-ie, e-i, u-ue, o-ue, but he verbs do NOT change in the nosotros or vosotros form
ex: pedir - pido,pides,pide,pedimos,piden
jugar, volver, cerrar

- permanently
- nationality/physical appearances/characteristics
