Presente del verbo TO BE (AM/S/ARE) + un GERUNDIO de un verbo principal.
NOW o AT THIS TIME, AT THE MOMENT, AT PRESENT, TEMPORARILY, FOR THE TIME BEING.

Presente verbo HAVE + un PARTICIPIO PASADO verbo ppl.
- Describir una acción que acaba de suceder “JUST”
“The train has just arrived”
- Una acción que ha ocurrido antes (BEFORE) o últimamente (LATELY), sin especificar cuándo exactamente ella ocurrió.
“I am sure that I’ ve seen that film before”
“She’s been here lately”
- Para indicar que la acción expresada por el verbo ha sido realizada varias veces a la fecha de hoy.
“I ́ve seen that documentary twice”
“We ́ve been in New York several times”
- Para referirse a una acción que comenzó en el pasado y ha continuado hasta el día de hoy, hasta este momento.

En la forma negativa se usa la palabra NOT entre HAVE/HAS y el pasado participio del verbo principal.

Pasado del verbo To Be (WAS o WERE) + gerundio de un verbo principal.
Para expresar una acción que se estaba realizando en un momento o en una fecha determinada en el pasado.
at 10 o ́clock this morning, at midday last Sunday, etc.
También son importantes las expresiones compuestas por “When + SUBJECT + Past Tense”
