The pre-takeoff contamination check needs to be done within 5 minutes of takeoff and it needs to be an outside, hands-on check. Op Specs call it an OTAC (GOM 04-10-17)

No, the latest wx report has to be at or above the minimums specified by the approach.
What must a pilot do in order to serve as SIC under IFR?

4. Has met the daytime landing experience
5. Within the preceding 90 days they have flown 15 hours
6. Has completed 3 takeoffs and 3 landings to a full stop between the period of 1 hour after sunset and 1 hour before sunrise within the preceding 12 months in a 142 training program simulator.
So… basically - just get your 3 night landings in to avoid this complexity.
