Why do you want to work for us?
I’m looking for a job where I can gain valuable experience to kickstart my work life as well as develop my customer service skills. My cousin roshan from the Merton branch recommended me this position and told me it was an opportunity i can’t miss out on. I know that from the opening of its first store in 1979, this company has shown excellency in its service and transparency. I believe it would be the most ideal place to work in.
Give me a scenario where you had to take action and responsibility.
Whilst working at Thanalaxmi Food and Wine, I was working a very busy afternoon shift when a customer was complaining about the price of a certain product. I wasn’t under supervision that day and it was my first time under such a scenario. I stayed calm and acknowledged his emotions whilst explaining why this product is a certain price.
Why should we hire you?
I am an ideal candidate for the role as I strongly match the job description and am able to provide ordinary service extraordinarily well. I thrive in a collaborative environment and am very flexible. In addition to this I am bilingual which will help me reach out to a more wider range of customers.
