HR - < 40 or > 140 WITH a BP <90

Sp02% <92% Despite 02 therapy
AVPU - Pain or GCS <10

What are the paediatric vital signs for escalation of care?
A
- Airway Threat
AVPU - to pain (Still, floppy, staring)
Respiratory Distress - Grunting/pallor/mottling/syanosis)

What are the high-risk criteria for escalation of care?
A
- Clinician concern
- Major Trauma
- Obstetric emergencies
- Ketamine sedation
- STEMI
- Complex poisoning with ECG OR Haemodynamic changes
- Refractory to first line treatment (Seizure, Anaphylaxis, Severe respiratory distress)
