• Shown to be very jumpy and uneasy
P1 - Shown to be immature and uneasy • "Suddenly guffaws" • "Here, what do you mean?" (Response to Gerald's 'unless Eric's been up to something') • "Oh - my God! - how stupid it all is!" • "She treated me as if I were a kid"
P2 - Eric’s actions

• (Inspector) “Used her…as if she was an animal, a thing, not a person”
P3 - Shows maturity + change • "My God - I'm not likely to forget." • "This girl's still dead, isn't she?" • "(Angrily)" • "It frightens me too"
