GH receptors deficiency –> decreased GH
dwarfism in children, adults no effect
Graves disease
hyperthyroidism caused by stimulatory abs for TSH-R
TSH = neg feed back thus overall:
decreased TRH
decreased TSH
increased TH
Hashimoto
hypothyroidism caused by inhibitory abs for TSH-R
TSH = neg feedback thus overall:
increased TRH
increased TSH
decreased TH
fatigue, weight gain, puffiness in face, constipation, slow reflexes and Amenorrhea (increased TRH leads to increased prolactin)
Cushing disease
same as Cushing syndrome
but
virilization in females and early puberty in males
