History of soft stool
Weight loss
Polyphagia
Lymphangectasia diagnosis:
Exclusion of other protein-losing diseases
Histopath of intestinal wall
Lymphangiectasia treatment:
- Dietary manipulation (low fat, high energy, digestible)
- Glucocorticoids @ anti-inflam doses
- Supplement with fat soluble vitamins
*this diet reduces diarrhea but exasperates weight loss
Lymphangiectasia prognosis:
Poo/grave (can show remission)

99.5-102.5

80-120
Puppy: 110-120

Canine anti-inflammatory pred dose:
1/2-1mg/kg

1mg/kg SQ SID
Used in dogs over 2mo and cats over 4mo Hepatic metabolism (reduce by 50% in liver patients)
Euthanasia calculations:
Euthasol 1ml/10lbs + dilute
Propofol 4mg/kg
Butorphanol calculations:
0.2mg/kg IV/IM
Dexmeditomidine calculations:
5mcg/ml IV
A2 adrenergic (reversed with atipamzole)
