Question 1

Megaphone

Answer 1

1. Remove from bracket
2. Hold with one hand
3. Squeeze and hold hand grip
4. Speak into mouthpiece holding casing against lips
5. Adjust volume with side dial
6. To gain customer’s attention use the horn by removing the pin adjacent to volume dial
7. Replace pin or squeeze handle to turn horn off
8. Release handle when finished speaking

Question 2

ORT

Answer 2

1. Take ORT from crew station
2. Insert point end of ORT into oxygen module of PSU
3. Oxygen mask will fall

Question 3

Torch

Answer 3

1. Remove torch from casing
2. Torch will automatically illuminate

Question 4

Restraint Kit

Answer 4

1. Remove restraints from kit
2. Prepare restraints out of sight of customer to be restrained
3. Restrain hands behind their back
4. Secure restraints on one wrist and then the other wrist
5. Cut excess off once restraints are secured

Infant Life Jacket

Answer 5

1. Remove from packaging
2. Wording and emblem is on outside/front
3. Place baby’s arms through arm holes
4. Put LJ around baby’s neck
5. Close Velcro pile and hook fasteners
6. Position crotch strap between legs
7. lock the 3 locking positions of buckle
8. Adjust tightness of the crotch to secure - tuck excess strap into pant leg/nappy
9. Lock the 2 locking points of the bottom buckle
