*7. If terrain remains a threat, continue to increase pitch up to: (PF)
> Pitch Limit Indicator
> Stick Shaker
> Initial Buffet
*8. Monitor Radio Altimeter for sustained or increasing terrain separation (PF)
*9. When clear of terrain, slowly decrease pitch attitude and recover to appropriate airspeed and configuration (PF)

*1. Autothrottle - Disengage (PF)

*3. F/D Switches (Both) - OFF (PM)
*4. Initially set the following gear up pitch attitude and thrust:
>Flaps extended - 10-deg - 80% N1
>Flaps up - 4-deg - 75% N1

EP: Runaway Stabilizer (PF/PM)
*1. Control Column - Hold Firmly (PF)
*2. Autopilot - Disengage (PF)
*3. Autothrottle - Disengage (PF)
*4. Control Column & Thrust Levers - Control Pitch Attitude & Airspeed (PF)
*5. Main Electric Stabilizer Trim - Reduce Control Column Forces (PF)
*6. If the runaway continues:
> STAB TRIM CUTOUT Switches (BOTH) - CUTOUT (PM)
*7. If the runaway continues:
> Stabilizer trim wheel - Grasp and hold (PM)
> Continue checklist w/ PCL
EP: FIRE APU (ACW)
*1. Choose ONE:
a. INSIDE the aircraft:
*1) APU Fire Switch - PULL, Rotate to the stop until BOTTLE DISCHARGE illuminates (ACW)
*2) APU Switch - OFF (ACW)
b. OUTSIDE the aircraft:
*1) APU Fire control handle - PULL Down (ACW)
*2) BOTTLE DISCHARGE Switch - PUSH Left (ACW)
