Validating One’s Knowledge
It is based on facts of reality, can be confirmed, and independent on one’s interpretation, preference, and bias.
TRUTH
It is based on emotions, open to interpretation, cannot be confirmed, and inherently biased.
OPINION
Theory with what we believe is true if it corresponds to the way things actually are based on facts.
Correspondence Theory of Truth
Theory that determined whether a belief is true by examining whether it coheres with the rules.
Coherence Theory of Truth
Theory that states something is true if it has a useful application in the world.
