If engines continue to run down: Thrust levers (both)..................SHUTOFF ADG manual deploy handle..........PULL
When ADG power is established:
STAB TRIM CH2 switch….CONF ENGAGED
Target Airspeed…………………….ESTABLISH
Airplane flight Level Target Airspeed
ABOVE FL 340 0.7 MACH
BELOW FL 340 240 KIAS
Maintain airspeed until ready to restart engines.
ENGINE FIRE OR SEVERE ENGINE DAMAGE
On ground
NOTE: Attempt to face the airplane into the wind.
Parking Brake
ON
Affected thrust Lever
SHUT OFF
Affected ENG FIRE PUSH switch
SELECT
L & R FUEL BOOST PUMP switches
OFF
After 10 seconds and fire warning persists:
Both engine BOTTLE switches
DISCHARGE
L (R) REV DEPLOYED
Affected thrust Lever……..CONFIRM AND IDLE
HYD 1 HI TEMP
L HYD SOV switch………………………CLOSED
HYDRAULIC page…..CONF L HYD SOV CLSD
System 1 Temp…………………………..MONITOR
APU FIRE
APU FIRE switch………………………….SELECT
If after five seconds and fire warning persists:
APU BOTTLE switch ………..DISCHARGE
DITCHING OR FORCED LANDING IMMINENT
L and R PACK switches…………………….OFF
EMER DEPRESS switch…………………….ON
Just before contact:
EMER DEPRESS switch……………OFF
HYD 2 HI TEMP
R HYD SOV switch……………………….CLOSED
HYDRAULIC page…CONF R HYD SOV CLSD
System 2 Temperature………………..MONITOR
LOSS OF ALL AC POWER
ADG Manual deploy handle……………….PULL
EFB OVERHEAT / FIRE
If you notice your iPad and/or battery are extremely hot or the EFB catches fire, conduct the following:
Immediately remove external power source (external battery, if applicable)
External power source…………..REMOVE
Shut down the iPad:
On/off Sleep/Wake button (on top)……HOLD
Red Power off bar………………………….SWIPE
If flames are visible:
Immediately isolate the iPad (floor of flight deck between seats is recommended) and use the fire extinguisher on the flames.
DO NOT SMOTHER the fire or cover with ice.
* Do not under any circumstances attempt to turn the iPad back on.
STAB TRIM RUNAWAY
Control wheel….ASSUME MANUAL CONTROL
AND OVERRIDE RUNAWAY
STAB TRIM DISC switch…………..SELECT
AILERON SYSTEM JAMMED
Autopilot…………………………………DISENGAGE
Aileron controls (both)….RELEASE PRESSURE
ROLL DISC handle…PULL, TURN, AND LOCK
Airplane control….TRANSFER TO PILOT WITH
OPERATIVE AILERON
ELEVATOR SYSTEM JAMMED
Autopilot……………………………….DISENGAGE
Elevator controls (both)..RELEASE PRESSURE
PITCH DISC handle..PULL, TURN, AND LOCK
Airplane control……TRANSFER TO PILOT WITH
OPERATIVE ELEVATOR
RUDDER SYSTEM JAMMED
YAW DAMPER DISC button……………SELECT
Rudder pedals……………………..OVERPOWER
