1) AUTOROTATE - AIRSPEED (65 KNOTS)
Attempt Restart if Conditions Permit
2) Fuel Flow Control(FFC) - OFF
3) FUEL PUMP 1&2 - ON
4) Generator - ON
5) Start Button (When NG is Below 30%) - PRESS
If restart is not successful and if time permits:
6) FFC - OFF
7) Fuel Shut Off - Close
8) FUEL PUMP 1&2 - OFF
9) GENERATOR - OFF
10) MASTER CUTOFF - OFF
GOVERNOR FAILURE
LOW SIDE
1) AUTOROTATE - AIRSPEED 65 KIAS
2) FUEL FLOW CONTROL - ADVANCE
(into emergency sector, NG 70%)
3) COLLECTIVE - ADJUST set 350 Nr
4) FUEL FLOW COTROL - INCREASE TO 380 Nr
5) REESTABLISH CRUISE FLIGHT - IF POSSIBLE
6) Land As Soon As Practicable - Shallow Approach/Run-On Ldg
7) After Landing, Reduce FFC Before Lowering Collective
GOVERNOR FAILURE
HIGH SIDE
1) COLLECTIVE (To Maintain Nr Limits) - DO NOT REDUCE
2) FFC - REDUCE
(Until Nr is in the middle of the green)
3) Land As Soon As Practicable - Shallow Approach/Run-On Ldg
4) After Landing, Reduce FFC Before Lowering Collective
ENGINE SURGING
1) COLLECTIVE - ADJUST
2) FUEL FLOW CONTROL(to leave governed range) - REDUCE
3) If Surging Continues - LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
4) If oscillations increase - AUTOROTATE/ENG SHUTDOWN
ENGINE FIRE
IN FLIGHT
1) AUTOROTATE - AIRSPEED 65 KIAS
2) FUEL SHUTOFF - CLOSE
3) FUEL PUMPS 1 & 2 - OFF
4) GENERATOR - OFF
5) MASTER CUTOFF - OFF
ENGINE FIRE
DURING START
1) FUEL SHUTOFF - CLOSE
2) APPLY ROTOR BRAKE - IF NECESSARY
3) FUEL PUMPS 1 & 2 - OFF
4) CRANK - ENGAGE (For 10 Seconds)
5) BAT-EXT POWER - OFF
6) Fire Extinguisher - AS Required

1) COLLECTIVE - REDUCE (as required)
2) AIRSPEED - ADJUST(Minimize Left Yaw)
3) SELECT SUITABLE LANDING AREA FOR STEEP APPROACH

Do not shutdown engine until aircraft
Position and profile permit a safe autorotation
4) AUTOROTATE/ENGINE SHUTDOWN - Minimize Touchdown Speed

2) AIRSPEED - ADJUST (40-60 KIAS)

5) Engine Shutdown - COMPLETE

If ENG.P LIGHT OFF WHEN TESTED:
AND TQ is Very Low - AUTOROTATE/ENG SHUTDOWN
AND TQ is Normal - LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
If ENG.P LIGHT IS ON WHEN TESTED:
AND TQ is VERY LOW - LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
AND TQ is NORMAL - LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE
HIGH ENGINE OIL TEMP (IN FLIGHT)
1) AIRSPEED - 80 KIAS
If Temperature decreases below the redline
2) LAND AS SOON AS PRACTICABLE.
If Temperature remains above the redline
3) LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
FUEL P. LIGHT
1) Fuel Pressure - Check
If pressure is ZERO, both pumps are faulty
2) Land as soon as practicable – remain below 5000 feet
If pressure is normal, only one pump is faulty
3) Continue Flight
TORQUE METER FAILURE
1) ΔNG - MAXIMUM CONTINUOUS -4
YAW SERVO-CONTROL SLIDE-VALVE SEIZURE (HOVER)
If yaw control is maintained:
LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
If yaw control is NOT maintained:
1) HYDRAULIC PRESSURE SWITCH (Collective) - OFF
2) LAND AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
After Landing:
3) COLLECTIVE -LOCK
4) ENGINE SHUTDOWN - COMPLETE

1) TORQUE - DO NOT EXCEED MAXIMUM

2) T4 TEMPERATURE BELOW THE FOLLOWING LIMITS:
