A

-Adjust collective to between 410-520RPM
-apply pedal
-airspeed no greater than 131kts

failure indicators actuate after N! goes below 55% or N2 goes below 468RPM

A

Water Landing - PWR off

A

-Establish auto
if time permits, open door
-Make auto rotative landing with minimal forward movement after flare
-level and pull pitch as water is contacted
- when aircraft starts rolling, lower collective
- unbuckle and clear a/c

- open door handle all the way down to prevent relocking
- passengers exit
-fly away
-close throttle and perform hover auto
- lower collective as it rolls
- remove seatbelt and exit once blades stop turning

Cyclic trim failure

A

-Establish flight condition that reduces cyclic control force.
-actuate trim in all direction to attempt to restore trim and determine extent of failure.
-check and reset trim circuit breaker if in safe flight
- land as soon as practical if unable to re-establish cyclic trim control

Gen malfunction

A

-check GEN circuit breaker is in
-Turn Gen switch off then on to reset
- if it doesnt reset and light is still on, pull breaker out and make sure switch is in the on position.
-reduce electrical load
land as soon as practical

Switch must be ON to enable Engine out/low rpm audio warning
