(patient lying diagonally across the bed, done if patient has shoulder problem and cannot abduct as far)
- SG depression
- Elbow extension
- Shoulder ER
- Forearm supination
- Wrist, finger and thumb abduction
- Shoulder abduction as tolerate

A

- SG depression
- Elbow extension
- Shoulder IR and forearm pronation

- Stabilise SG from underneath

Neurological muscle myotomes
A
- C4 = traps which can be done at the same time
- C5 = deltoid which can be done at the same time
- C6 = biceps but make sure to only cross one joint → resistance is applied proximal to wrist
- C7 = triceps
- C8 = thumb extension + long finger flexors
- T1 = palmar interossei (don’t let me move your fingers apart)

3 signs of joint dysfunction
A
- Pain that is either local or referred
- Abnormal movement →hyper or hypo
- Altered end feel
