Alarm for low Lube Pressure Port Main Thrust Bearing (Perform as PACC)

“MER 3, PACC investigate Low L/O pressure Alarm Port MTB”
Take thrust control in ECS and slow the Port shaft to 0 rpm
“EOOW, PACC, Loss of L/O pressure port MTB, thrust control in ECS, slowing port shaft to 0 rpm”

Fire Alarm on 2 ATG (perform as EPCC)

Pacc lights of HFP
Ensure FSV 2701, 2728, and 2732 shut
“EOOW EPCC No 2 ATG fuel supply valves shut”
Ensure Gen Circuit breaker opens
Normal start No 1 ATG and place online ( close .2 and .4 breaker)
reconfigure electical plant to restore HV bus and IFTP busses (.9 and .11 breakers) verify on the IFTP screen
Monitor 2 atg for post shutdown fire
“EOOW, EPCC Class bravo fire in No 2 ATG module. Primary HFP released. No 2 ATG is stopped. No 1 ATG started and placed online”

High vibrations alarm 2 MTG (1.9 mils) (perform as EPCC)

Once Normal stopped Vibes increase

“MER 2 EPCC investigate excessive turbine vibration alarm No 2 MTG”
“EOOW EPCC Excessive turbine vibration No 2 MTG”
Quick Start No 1 MTG and place online (1.1B and 1.1A and HRMFL 1.4)
reconfigure the electrical plant to maintain load (verify .9 and .11 breakers)
Remove the load and normal stop no 2 MTG
verify vibrations decrease within normal limits

*VIBES increase

Quick stop the affected MTG, verfy breakers open (3.1A and 3.1B), monitor for post shutdown fire
Verify the electrical plant is maintained both HV and IFTP busses
“EOOW EPCC No 2 MTG quick stopped, breakers open, monitoring for post shut down fire. No 1 MTG started and placed online”

Report of F/O leak from 2A F/o service pump 20 gals per minute and increasing (perform as EPCC)

Verify 2A L/O service pump stops (via logics)
Normal start 1 ATG and place online
Reconfigure plant to maintain load
Quickstop 2 ATG, verify it stops and breaker opens (4.2) and monitor for post shutdown fire
Close suction recirc valves for 2B F/O service tank
Close F/O valve leading to 2A f/o pump to isolate leak

“EOOW EPCC 2A F/O pump stopped, Suction and return valves shut, 2A F/O service pump isolated. No 2 ATG quick stopped, breaker open, monitoring for post shutdown fire. No 1 ATG started and placed online”

Space going to isolate leak
Manned AFFF station
PACC activate AFFF bildge sprinks (minimum of 1 min but long enough for adequate coverage)
Space personnel are going to man FF equipt, flush to bilge and cover with AFFF
Report to OOD leak isolated, flushed to bildge and covered with AFFF

Request permision to align eductor and pump fire hazards over the side

MCBF as EOOW

A

OOC if large area, threaten evac route, source can’t be secured, or 4 mins after afff blidge sprinks-> immediate actions

PACC slow both shafts to 0 rpm and verify PMDs stop.
Personnel is space shoulder EEBDs
Report to eoow “B fire in MER 3, request set cond 2 dc, TC in ECS both shafts stopped”
establish comms with DC organization
Activate AFFF blidge sprinks
Space will attempt to isolate an aggressively fight fire
Set fire and smoke boundraries
Mech and electricall isolate space w/ exception of FF equipt, lighting and ventilation.
PACC set positive ventilation in unaffected, negative in affected.
Order evacuation of space if out of control

Class bravo fire out of control, evacuating the space request cond 2 dc set
Evacuating space personnel activate watermist, activate AFFF blige sprinks not to exceed 4 mins if not perviously done, ensure F/O quick-closing valves trip and space access secured.
Secure all electrical power to the space.

Affected space personnel report to EOOW, Report: Class B fire is out of contorl, space evactuated, all pesonnel accounted for, AFFF sprink activted time ____ secured time ____. Watermist activated time ____. F/O quick closing valves tripped”

EOOW Turnover to DCA :
Class B fire out of control in MER 3 from discharge side of 2A F/O service pump. Leak isolated/not isolated, AFFF sprink activted time ____ secured time ____. Watermist activated time ____. _____ Firefighting gear left out in space, recommend ___ reentry route”

Eoow update OOD with plant status and max speed available.
