Reorganization Act of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources.
EO 192, when?
June 10, 1987
The Department Proper shall consist of the following:
(a) Office of the Secretary
(b) Offices of Undersecretaries
(c) Offices of Assistant Secretaries
(d) Public Affairs Office
(e) Special Concerns Office
(f) Pollution Adjudication Board
The staff sectoral bureaus on the other hand, shall be composed of:
(a) Forest Management Bureau
(b) Lands Management Bureau
(c) Mines and Geo-Sciences Bureau
(d) Environmental Management Bureau
(e) Ecosystems Research and Development Bureau
(f) Protected Areas and Wildlife Bureau
Oversees the protection, development, and conservation of forests and watersheds to ensure sustainable use of forest resources
Forest Management Bureau (FMB)
Manages public lands by conducting surveys, classifying land, and ensuring proper use and distribution of land resources
Lands Management Bureau (LMB)
Regulates mining activities, explores mineral resources, and ensures environmental safety in mining operations
Mines and Geo-Sciences Bureau (MGB)
Focuses on pollution control, waste management, and protecting air, water, and land quality
Environmental Management Bureau (EMB)
Conducts research to improve the management and conservation of ecosystems and natural resources
Ecosystems Research and Development Bureau (ERDB)
Manages protected areas, preserves biodiversity, and safeguards wildlife habitats
Protected Areas and Wildlife Bureau (PAWB)
Attached Agencies and Corporations:

Acts as the central mapping agency, providing mapmaking services and serving as a depository for natural resources data. It conducts surveys and mapping of land and water resources, and offers geospatial information services
National Mapping and Resource Information Authority (NAMRIA)
promote the enhancement of forest renewal rate through
intensified Industrial Tree Plantation promotion including the provision of incidental
services such as extension of assistance on equity/capital, credit line/facilities,
marketing and management.
Natural Resources
Development Corporation (NRDC)
Focuses on promoting and overseeing the electrification of rural areas in the Philippines. It supports electric cooperatives in providing electricity to unserved or underserved communities.
