A
Amino acids put together make chains of protein and lots of proteins make enzymes up

What is the lock and key theory ?
A
The lock and key theory is the idea that only one key fits into a specific lock just like only one substrate fits into a specific active site

A
The measure of how acidic or alkaline something is

What happens at a high and Low PH?
A
At a high PH some bonds are broken therefore the active site changes shape the substrate no longer fits and the enzyme is denatured
same for low PH
