Technology Based Standards: POTW
- Dredged Material = Material that has been excavated or dredged from the waters of the United States
- Fill Material = material placed in waters of the United States where the material has the effect of (a) replacing any portion of a water of the United States with dry land or (b) changing the bottom elevation of any portion of a water of the United States; but not including trash or garbage (which are regulated under § 402).
