What is postponed violence
A
The violence concerns the harm to humans and the environment, including deaths caused by violation of environmental and workplace health and safety laws by a business. Postponed is an appropriate term, as many of these violations, such as burying hazardous substances and failing to provide workers with adequate safety equipment, do not result in immediate harm to humans and the environment. In fact, some of the harm is not only postponed and often indirect, but is still unknown for some of the more egregious environmental disasters, such as the BP Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
