A

Organisations encourage recycling by their customers in order to imoact less negatively on the enviroment. For example, retailers discourage the use of plastic bags and sell ‘bags for life’ which will lower the cost to the retailer of providing plastic bags and gain the company a favourable repuatation for being ‘enviremntally freindly’

Organisations are encouraged to reduce their carbon footprint. This means to lower the amount of emissions from fossil fuels released into the atmosphere. Businessses that do this, for example by utilising renewable energy, will eventually save moeny on fuel bills.
