What is the bill of rights?

First Amendment
Freedom of speech, press, assembly, and religion
Second Amendment
Right of bare arms
Third Amendment
Prevents government from forcing you to house soldiers/ Revolutionary War update
Fourth Amendment
Protects against unreasonable search and seizure against an individual and their property
Fifth Amendment
Prevents the government from forcing you to testify against yourself. Cannot be imprisoned without due process. Criminal charges must be started by a grand jury. Cannot be tried twice for the same offence. Cannot take property away without compensation.
Sixth Amendment
Right to a speedy public trial, Trial by impartial jury, must be informed of charges, witness must face the accused. you have the right to a witness and a attorney.
