Anytime. Previously it was when a planning submission was submitted
What is a certificate of immunity from listing?
A guarantee a building will be immune from listing for 5 years. LPA are unable to serve a building preservation notice within this time
If there is a breach of planning requirements within a conservation area, what is the time limit on enforcement action?
No time limit
What are Heritage Partnership Agreements?
It is an agreement or management framework in which Listed Building Consent can be granted for specified works (excluding demolition), rather than a series of individual consents
What are Building Consent Order?
Set up by the LPA or Secretary of State for Culture Media and Sport, under which works of a type described in the order (excl. demolition) will not require Listed Building Consent
What is a certificate of Lawfulness?
Confirms that works described in it do not affect the character of a listed building, and therefore do not require consent.
How long is a Certificate of Lawfulness valid for?
10 years
