What’s conventions
One of the 6 traits of writing,the use of conventions means to follow the standard rules of punctuation,grammar,and capitalization in order to make the piece of writing easier to read.
What’s a margin?
Each sheet of lines paper has either blue or pink lines that travel down either side. These indicated margins. Margins are placed on lined for a few reasons:to keep your work tidy,for jot notes,and for numbering and lettering.Never write beyond the lines.
Indent writing
At the beginning of every paragraph,leave a space about the size of your pinky finger before the first word.You do not skip a line.
Block writing
At the beginning of every new paragraph do not leave any space ; write margin to margin. Between paragraphs,skip one line.
What is plagiarism?
The practice of taking someone’s else’s work or ideas and passing them off as ones own.
What is a lot ?
A lot is two words.There is always a space between a and lot. It’s wrong to write them as one.
Know have seen\had seen\saw\see.
Ex.I have seen that person before.
Ex.I see the car.
Ex.I saw that movie yesterday.
Definitely and definite
Ex.I definitely saw him the other day.
Ex. That man has a definite problem.
Practice then/than
Ex. I rather him than the other guy.
Ex.I’m going to stand here then over there
Know there/their/they’re
Ex.I ran to go over there.
Ex.Thats their food.
Ex.They’re are a lot of people.
What is a genre?
A genre is the type of writing .

What is a text feature?
A text features are pictures , graphs, definitions etc.
