What position should the pt be in bed?
30 degrees or more and leave there for at least 30 mins
If pt is feeding through tube and med is not needed on empty stomach what do you do? What if it needs an empty stomach?
Halt feeding and give med
Halt feeding and wait 30 mins before giving med
