A

fungal otitis externa, red/yellow crusty ear canal. Needs mcirosuction and clotrimazole

management for membrane perforation with granulation on rim and patches of tympanosclerosis

A

keep ear dry, check up in 2 months, do audiometry.

May need tympanoplasty

A

retraction of the tympanic membrane, can see from malleolus positioning. Opaque, may be bubbles

A

can watch and wait for 3 months or Otovent to reinflate middle ear, may need Abx if infection, see if affecting development

cholesteatoma management

A

Arranging emergency hospital admission if there is suspected advanced or extensive disease (e.g. facial nerve palsy or neurological signs) , or clinical features suggesting a potentially serious or life-threatening complication.

Arranging prompt ENT referral for audiology assessment, specialist imaging, confirmation of the diagnosis, possible surgical intervention, and follow-up.

CT head to assess temporal bone
