What are the roles of the cerebellum?

- coordination of movement
- balance and equilibrium
- motor planning and learning
The cerebellum integergratws a massive amazing of sensory input from different areas of Brain. There are no direct connections to the lower motor neurons but instead the cere exerts it’s influences thru connections of the motor systems of the cerebral cortex and brain stem.
It receives afférent or sensory info form the somato sensory, vistibular and visual systems. The function of cere obtains info about movement commands and movement themselves and then compares the motor output with actual movement output and makes connections.
