What is an allegory
a narrative or artwork where characters and events sybolically represent abstract ideas or moral principles
What is alliteration
the repetition of the same consonant sound. Usually at the beginning of words in close proximity, to create emphasis or rhythm in writing or speech
What is an allusion
author refers to a subject matter such as a person, place, event, or literary work in a passing reference. It is up to the reader to make the connection to the subject being mentioned.
What is an anagram
A word or phrase formed by rearranging the letters of another word or phrase to create a new meaning or message
What is an analogy
Is a comparison between two things for the purpose of explanation and clarification
What is an antagonist
is a character, group, or force in a narrative that opposes or competes with the protagonist, creating conflict.

A central character who lacks conventional heroic qualities. They blur the line between hero and villian.

in literature refers to a universally recognized character type that embodied specific triats or qualities, often representing a fundamental human experience or stereotype
